El 1991 es va formar un supergrup de músics que havien triomfat individualment: Ry Cooder, John Hiatt, Nick Lowe i Jim Keltner. Només van publicar un disc i no va ser un èxit de vendes, però va estar nominat al Grammy a millor interpretació de rock en grup vocal.
